Remember when I worked on a Spring special with SisterMag? Well, once that published we brainstormed the holiday season and a special that would focus on the colours purple and plum with lots of sparkle and bits of silver and gold. A selection of recipes and a couple of easy DIY for the holidays. I loved putting this together – I brainstormed, sketched and wrote out what I wanted to achieve. This is one of the times where the things that I imagined in my head turned out the way I wanted.
While it’s crazy to be baking Christmas cookies in October – it’s also fun and had the benefit of having a bunch of things in the freezer, ready for the holidays.
Once again, Thea did an amazing job with the design. I always look forward to how she interprets the photos and puts them together in a cohesive spread.
