This last week of February was a good one and a strange one. Imagine capturing above sky one mild evening, and then dealing with a massive snow storm the next day. Let me tell you, we had A LOT of snow. While it looks pretty on all the trees, I’m really hoping this was winter’s last big push. I can’t wait for spring to come. Compared to last weekend, this one seems to be shaping up to be a quiet one: our regular swim and dance classes, a birthday party to attend and a visit to the hairdresser with my little girl. Do you have any fun plans for this first March weekend?
A few specials I wanted to share this week:
- Sandberg vs Slaughter – do you feel you have it all?
- Christelle made a beautiful Lemon Olive Oil Cake and I would really like to try a piece (in French)
- I can’t decide if I would like to purchase these blue salad plates, or these blue salad plates. Salad plates are the only ones missing in our all-white set. Which do you prefer?
- Did you know you can forage in Central Park? Check out this great foraging, food styling and photography workshop that Aran and Karen are hosting.
- Classic Play discussed ‘gifts or no gifts’ at kids birthday parties. Some great comments.
- Desmond’s room was featured on Apartment Therapy this week (yayy!) and I won third place in Liz and Jewels Food Photography contest (yayy, yayy!)
